Beaver Creek Firewood Company was started after the Four Corners Fire in the West Mountain Range nearly destroyed the home of Scott Campbell, founder and CEO. After talking with the local forest service, Scott was told that one of the causes of the rapid spread of forest fires is dead trees that are left lying on the forest floor. Many of these trees were killed by beetle strikes. That is when Scott started working on grants to come into areas with high concentrations of insect kills and work with local agencies and landowners to remove the dead trees to help mitigate the spread of fires and promote a healthy forest for years to come.
Beaver Creek Firewood is looking for landowners and loggers in the northwest to work with us on removing damaged and dead trees at no cost to the landowner.
